When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number if provided, project location, project type, the stage your project is at, and anything you write in the message field. We collect this only because you chose to send it.
Our host, Netlify, records standard server logs when a page is requested. These typically include IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
Our contact page embeds a Google Map. When that map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers.
This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, a Meta Pixel, or any other tracker, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit. The only third-party requests the site makes are for the embedded map and web fonts described above.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only where it is necessary:
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for two years and then deleted. Records relating to projects we deliver are kept for two years after completion to meet contractual, warranty, tax, and insurance obligations, or longer where the law requires it.
You can ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is inaccurate, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@sdgcalifornia.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Depending on your circumstances, California law may also give you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used, the right to have it corrected or deleted, the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of it, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the period required by law.
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect information in our care.
This site is intended for adults engaging professional construction services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we link to another website, that site's own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
